Workshop description: 

This discussion group aims to empower participants to become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond, by promoting a culture of peace and nonviolence and supporting the meaningful participation of youth in peacebuilding initiatives.

 

Facilitator: Armina Movsesyan

Hey there! I am Armina from Armenia - a youth trainer with 11-year experience in the field of youth work at local and European levels. I am currently a member of the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe, which establishes the standards and work priorities of the Council of Europe’s youth sector and makes recommendations for future priorities, programmes and budgets. In the frames of the Advisory Council on Youth at the Council of Europe, I am leading the portfolio on Youth, peace and security. With years of experience working in various youth development programs, I am passionate about designing engaging and interactive training sessions, which are meant to support youth build confidence, develop essential life skills, and foster positive relationships, while creating a safe and supportive environment for young people to learn and grow. My facilitation experience varies from local workshops and seminars to international educational programs, such as training courses, study sessions and so on. Throughout these years I have facilitated a deal of educational projects and consultative meetings in cooperation with MIJARC Europe, Rural Youth Europe, Youth and Environment Europe and other similar international networks. Last but not least, I am one of the members of the TRAYCE 2023 - 2024 (Training of Trainers for Youth in the Council of Europe) course at the Council of Europe and the founder of the Youth Development Center of Armenia.
