As SAME is a fast-growing network and many European youth organisations are interested in organising a Solidarity Action Day on their own, we came up with an idea how to better support them at the beginning of their Action Day journey.

Our "Ambassador programme" on one hand shall give experienced SAMEies a perspective for letting others benefit from their knowledge and on the other hand, meet with "Action Day Initiatives" and discuss their individual needs in person.

The Ambassadors' programme was established in 2021. The process officially started with the first Ambassadors workshop, which took place in Germany from October 14-17. Here, five young people, supported by the SAME team from the office, were educated on how to spread and promote the concept of the Solidarity Action Day across Europe.

The tasks of our SAD Ambassadors are:

1) Visit organizations interested in organizing the SAD and provide workshops to their members;

2) Have meetings with relevant partners in order to promote the SAD, but also SAME;

3) Visit european youth events, conferences, seminars;

In the next years, we plan to include more and more people active in SAME's member organizations in the Ambassador programme. This also means that we will keep you posted and notify you whenever there is a call for applications open. You can always find it on this page.
