About the event
Together with other young people from all over Europe, you will be able to exchange ideas on solidarity and youth activism.The camp gives you the possibility to express yourself and to learn spreading your messages on topics that matter to you. Discussions are just as important as creativity, games and fun. And of course, there is also the option of exploring the city of Prizren or just lying in the sun, enjoying summer.
By joining this project, you will be part of a journey aimed at your personal development. Your adventure will begin with a Summer Camp in Kosovo. Afterwards you will implement an individual project in your local community, supporting the Solidarity Action Day in your organisation. At the end, we will meet-up once more (online) to reflect and share learnings & best-practices. The main phases of the project will be as follow:

Stage 1: One-week long summer camp in Kosovo. We will get to know each other, discuss youth participation and activism (a reflection of your "personal mission"). During this time, we will focus on awareness of social issues and the importance of the Solidarity Action Day in fostering social cohesion and solidarity. Depending on your interests, you will jointly develop a video or engagement booklet. There's also a variety of fun games, team building, and relaxed outdoor activities ahead of you, too. And of course, there is also the option exploring the city of Prizren or just lying in the sun.
*The final selection of workshop topics will be announced shortly before the summer camp.
- Stage 2: Implementation of individual projects. It´s time for you to take action. In case you´re not sure about ideas yet, don´t worry. We´ll work on it together during the camp as well as guide and support you on the way afterwards.
- Stage 3: Closing event (December, online) for reflection and sharing learnings. During the previous two stages, we´ll tell you more about what to expect at this step.

- Travel costs, accommodation and full catering will be covered by SAME
The project partners - ASuBiH, AS@N, Schüler*innen Helfen Leben, Social Day Italy, TOKA, Youth Can and YOUCA are invited to send an email to events@same-network.org with a list of 6 people who want to participate in the camp.
