About the workshop:

We will take one hour in the morning to move our bodies and prepare them for the day. This class is suitable for beginners as well as more experienced yogis. We will combine breathing techniques, physical movement and meditation in order to release tension, build some strength, relax and connect to our bodies. Prepare to get a bit sweaty, too! Movements will be simple, but dynamic. You need: comfortable clothes, a yoga mat or a carpet, and (optional) two yoga blocks or stacks of books.

 

About the trainer: Ulrike Schäfer

Ulrike Schäfer is a Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and freelance writer from Berlin. She was a student activist when she was in high school. Because self-care is important for activists, she teaches yoga, always trying to inspire people to become more compassionate with themselves, each other and the world around them.
