About the workshop:
We all know the term “Democracy” and have a more or less abstract idea of what it means. But what does democracy feel like? What does it mean in your and my everyday life? How can we as individuals make an impact within it? And how can we protect the things we value from its threats?
In this online workshop you will experience and discover answers to those questions in an interactive manner.
About the trainer: Clara Berger
I am a 24 year old female speaker with a focus on political education and sustainability. I enjoyed an interdisciplinary academic training and gathered experiences in giving workshops on multiple topics occasions. I usually worked with students and young people and enjoy interaction an lively discussions. Kulturweiter is an organisation with the aim to foster social cooperation and sustainable development. It originated as a means to organise alumni from the international UNESCO youth voluntary service "kulturweit" who underwent the trainee programs about (1) world heritage and (2) education for sustainable development. The club supports workshops, enables networking and encourages to engage towards the aims of the organisation.
