Then the Solidarity Action Day for Beginners Conference is the right place for you!
This international training is designed for youth organisations, initiatives or informal groups that want to launch their own Solidarity Action Day (SAD) — a powerful fundraising and civic action tool that has inspired thousands of young people across Europe.
What to expect
During this 5-day conference, you’ll:
• 🌱 Learn the basics of the SAD concept and how it fosters youth participation and active citizenship
• 🛠️ Gain practical skills to organise your own SAD, from planning to execution
• 🗺️ Develop a customised action plan for your region with clear steps and timeline
• 🤝 Connect with youth leaders from across Europe and join the SAME network
• 🧭 Get access to a SAD Start-Up Kit and long-term support including mentoring and follow-up visits
Experienced activists and SAME peer trainers will lead workshops. Our office team will also guide you through the next steps after the conference, because we don’t just train, we walk with you all the way.

• 🧑 Who can apply: Participants aged 16–25 (exceptions possible)
• 👥 Apply as a delegation (1–3 people) from the same organisation or group
• 💸 All costs covered (travel, accommodation & meals)
• 🌐 Working language: English
⚠️ Important: Each member of the group must submit their own individual application. Only complete applications from all group members will be considered as a group delegation.
