About the workshop:

One of the consequences of a further globalized world is the phenomena of brain drain. In this workshop we are going to discuss what it is, how it affects countries, societies and the individual people, as well as the long and short term impacts and challenges that it poses. We will look at the specific reasons why brain drain occurs, which factors contribute to it, who leaves which countries, the role of the European Union and how it differs from other forms of migration.
