The Annual Congress 2026 is a five-day event that brings together representatives of SAME member and candidate organisations, as well as the Board, for a dynamic mix of formal and informal programme elements. Taking place in Ratzeburg, the event will host the General Assembly, Council Meeting, and interactive spaces for youth-led strategy and dialogue.
The General Assembly will include the adoption of the new Strategic Plan 2026–2031, elections for the SAME Board and Council Coordination Organisation (CCO), and voting on policy proposals, plans and budget. Parallel sessions will include barcamps, thematic workshops, and evening delegation meetings to gather feedback and shape the flow of the event.
The Council Meeting, embedded in the Congress, ensures participatory governance and allows youth representatives to guide the future of the SAME Network.
